Alan Pope pronunciation quirks

Listening to the default “voice” on Mycroft it is clear that words are often strung together from the sound of smaller words. For example; “classic” and “classify” seem to use the root sound of “class”.

This example works fine for many regional accents in Britain and probably most of North America, but Alan Pope appears to have a British “home counties” accent. So “class” is pronounced “clarse” therefore classic and classify become “clarsic” and “clarsify”.

Also noticed that “bit coin” sounds OK, but “bitcoin” is pronounced more like “bit-co-in”.

So my search is on for the most amusing sounding word.
