Hello everyone! I’m Sean Fitzgerald (@seanfitz), and I’m the original author and now maintainer of the Adapt intent parsing framework, coming to you via Mycroft.ai. I’ve been working in this space (on personal and professional projects) for a while now, and I’m really excited to contribute to the project.
For a little background on me, I’m a free-floating software engineer; I’ve worked at a few big names, (Amazon, MS), a few small names (like Siri prior to Apple), and spend a surprising amount of my free time doing the exact same thing I do at the office: gradually replacing myself with a series of scripts.
I’m going to be working with the Mycroft.ai team to integrate and extend Adapt, and to help create new tools for the open-source community to add cool new features to their own little house robots.
