I trained a custom wake word and it works really well using precise-listen with the default settings (i.e., precise-listen hey-floyd.net, same with hey-floyd.pb). However, when I use it in mycroft, its performance is degraded. I have to often repeat the wake word to get mycroft to respond. What is the difference between precise-listen and precise that’s in mycroft?
To answer my own question, mycroft uses precise v0.2.0 while the wake word trainer uses precise v0.3.0.
I updated my mycroft to 0.3.0 and I get comparable performance now.
