Do I need to do this even if I have a device?

ok this prob is been asked… I did do a fast search but did not find anything…
so I have the mycroft device I wrote a skill, I rather use my device to test since I dont have a good mic on my computer etc… so can I just ssh the files to where the other skills ?
what else I need to do?
do I still need to do this?

Skills are transferable between devices, so if you write a skill on your laptop, you should be able to just transfer the file over to the Mark 1 device.

cool yeah I also figured out how to use msn install etc. so I can just install from my github
