Made a few changes to audio_setup.sh :
amixer set Master 99% > /dev/null 2>&1
amixer set Capture 50% > /dev/null 2>&1
Rebooted once. So far, so good.

had a DL-8 hooked up and wasn’t that impressed. That extra frequency range added to those wont make that big of a deal, i suppose.
But this most due to the enclosure you’re running them in.
This will get you an idea what the mark2 is up to in terms of components.
@gez-mycroft Have you hashed out the speaker yet?
btw I would be so bold and bridge the power button
Not impressed in what sense? Did you use it for music and expect a great sound? For me the quality of speech is most important.
You lost me again. Don’t forget I know nothing about electronics
For the speaker drivers, we have likely candidates but don’t think we have had to lock them in yet.
I’m still using the OTS prototypes which use:
Peerless TC5FC07-04 1-1/2" Full-Range Driver 4 Ohm - available on parts express
@derick-mycroft might be able to provide more detail and FDM compatible files, as I believe the design of your speaker chamber has a big impact on how any drivers sound in the real world.
For the time being, I will have to do with either my JBL or the set of cheapo’s whose volume is abominable. I’ll have continue my struggle next week, because this week I must spent time on a project and try to make some money
Took a slight loss and sold my JBL
