Since receiving the Mark 1, I’ve been observing poor wake word detection. I’m seated approximately 2 meters / 6 feet away from the enclosure. The cli client’s mic meter shows that it hears the sound well but I cannot tell if pocketsphinx is the culprit in not understanding the utterance. I’ve used both ‘hey mycroft’ and ‘mycroft’ with similar results.
Does anyone have any pointers on how to debug?

It doesn’t seem to pick up my wake word unless I’m speaking clearly and a foot away from the mic. I can be 5 or 6 feet away with no other background noise and say hey mycroft loudly and clearly mutliple times and get no response. Pretty frustrating and makes using the Mark I almost pointless if I have walk over and put my face a foot away every time for it to do anything.
