Has anyone tried to install a mute button on picroft? I’ve thought about connecting a button to GPIO pins or even just wiring the button into the headphone jack so that it just connects/disconnects the speaker. Thoughts?
I can offer a suggestion about a “mute button”.
I use the microphone in a USB headset for the Picroft mic (I don’t use the headset speakers).
This headset has a mic mute button built in to the cable. While using mycroft-desktop-client, the mic volume zeros out when I push that mute button.
I also use a powered speaker that Picroft plays through. If I wish to silence the Picroft, I turn off the powered speaker.
