Hi there. I’m having trouble getting picroft to run on a Pi4b. I’ve flashed the stable version and get info that says I need new software. I just got a brand new pi4b kit with all the latest software. Do you have any insight?

I’ve split this out to a new thread as it seems different to the other issue.
I’d first try updating your Pi’s firmware - this seems like a pretty comprehensive answer on how to do that and things to consider:
Updating the firmware can brick a device so personally I’d suggest only using the official Raspberry Pi OS and making sure it is fully up to date before doing this.
