Issues with microphone / Mycroft

Hello! I’m new to this community and I’m trying to communicate with Mycroft without succeeding.
I have the Linux version installed on Lubuntu. So, when I type some inputs he replies, but when I try to speak he doesn’t listen.
I already tried the solutions in this page: https://mycroft-ai.gitbook.io/docs/using-mycroft-ai/troubleshooting/audio-troubleshooting.
When I type: “arecord -d 10 test.wav” and “aplay test.wav” I can listen to my voice, instead with “mycroft-start audiotest -l” I can’t anymore.

I noticed that the Mic Level are too high and when I when I turn them down with PulseAudio I can’t hear my voice anymore even when I try doing the tests.

What can I do? Thank you.

It sounds more like a wake word issue, or maybe your system won’t run tensorflow. There is a way to check that from the command line, but I can’t remember how. It has to do with the processor

Check the voice.log ( /var/log/mycroft/voice.log).

That will tell you if it’s having problems loading precise and using pocketsphinx.
