Msm install git - does not match master branch

Hello. Using piCroft on Rasbperry 3. Struggling to figure this out, has been a problem. I discover nature of all the problems today.

MSM INSTALL _____ GIT

Say this installs. I check the /opt/mycroft/skills/____ directory. The code does NOT match the master branch on the github. Skill code malfunctions.

I manually download, unzip and apply to the piCroft. Skill code works.

What am I doing wrong, please - does anyone know ?
