Mycroft screen is not working anymore (stuck at yellow eyes state), when everything else is working. Menu is still accessible.

After a few checks, it appears that mycroft-client-enclosure is not running. I restart it but it crashes quickly with this error message:

mycroft.client.enclosure:read:75 - ERROR - Reading error: 'utf-8'codec can't decode byte 0xf8 in position 0: invalid start byte

How can I fix this?

This sounds like the problem I have described here. There is also a fix proposal…

Agreed, I think this is the same issue.
My colleague @forslund has added some comments and suggestions to that PR @Dominik - is there any chance you might be able to have a look at them?

I don’t know if we’ll be able to pull it into 18.08 but I want to make sure we’re looking at it - you’ve gone out of your way to help resolve this and we really appreciate it Dominik.
