I had Mycroft turned off for a few days, when I went to turn it on I connected the power adapter and nothing happened. I tested the power adapter and confirmed it was outputting the correct voltage. So I decided to pop the lid off Mycroft to see if I could locate a loose lead. What I did find is a displaced capacitor on the circuit board. One of the pads is completely detached and the other the solder is poor. Can I arrange a replacement. I can provide pictures of the damaged component.
Hi @pjnetnz, very sorry to hear that you’ve got a dodgy cap on that board. Let’s arrange an RMA for you. If you’re able to email my colleague @nate-mycroft at hello@mycroft.ai we’ll be able to get that started for you straight away.
