Voice and AI server requirements

I listened to a mycroft presentation on youtube and it mooted the capacity to run servers independent of the mycroft “official” servers. What would be required to take mycroft off grid in terms of the AI and the Voice components.

Could I run these servers with a cluster of devices like ODROID-XU4’s http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G143452239825 or is storage the issue.

I’m interested too.
I already have a rack in my house hosting basic services and other open source projects like Owncloud.
I would like to host Mycroft server too.

Can you please tell us more about this?
