Whenever it responds the first couple hundred milliseconds is cut off. Usually about the first one or two syllables of the first word. For instance instead of “Mount Everest is 29,000 something feet high” it sounds closer to “t Everest is 29,000 something feet high”. Is there a way to add a delay to cover for this or a way to fix the problem?
I’m using the US male mimic voice. It doesn’t seem to have this problem on the other voices.
If this is picroft, you might try editing /etc/pulse/default.pa and /etc/pulse/system.pa and comment out the line “load-module module-suspend-on-idle” in both.
