I have Mycroft installed on Ubuntu Server in Virtual Box on a Windows 7 desktop. I followed the directions here: https://mycroft.ai/documentation/mycroft-for-macos-and-windows-with-virtualbox/
I also installed VBox Guest Additions.
My level of experience with Ubuntu is low. If you need additional info, please let me know.
I’m having trouble getting Mycroft to respond to verbal input. I know the mic works in Windows. I’m not sure if it’s a VBox problem or a Ubuntu Server problem.
Tangent: The CLI works okay. Sometimes I can hear it talk in addition to its text reply. Sometimes I can’t. When I do hear it, I have to turn the volume up to max. I don’t know if that is related to the microphone problem.
Any feedback I could get for this would be wonderful.
