What happens when you plug in a phone via USB?
Could it be so that it can read the sound files contained in music folders or to view picture files in memory?

I think it would scan the mounted folders for music, if the USB connection is set to file transfers. I haven’t read anything about images on the MKII yet…
Hum. It did not prompt for file transfers. It did charge the phone a little.
I will try again.
I think it’s something in the settings for the phone, is it android?
What to do if USB is plugged in, charge or transfer files. I would try plugging it into a computer first to see- it’s going to need to mount the folder where your music is or the music player won’t find it.
I could be wrong, hoping someone else will chime in on it.
